Reducer is a core part of concrete mixer. It directly determines whether concrete mixer can work normally or not. Here are some solutions to the irregularity of reducer.

1. Failure: unusual regular running noise

Possible cause:

a) rotating/abrasion noise; bearing failure

b) Impact noise; gearwheel failure

Handling methods: check oil; contact customer service center

2. Failure: unusual irregular running noise

Possible cause: there is debris in oil

Handling methods: check oil; stop running and contact customer service centre

3. Failure: oil leakage

Possible cause:

a) seal failure of end cover

b) Breather and rubber ring are not torn off

c) Reducer is stuffy

d) Oil is too much

Handling methods: tighten the bolt; revise oil level; install breather correctly

4. Failure: motor doesn't rotate

Possible cause:

a) too low voltage

b) Failure of gearwheel

c) Overloading operation

Handling methods: check the power line; reduce electric load

5. Failure: abnormal heating

Possible cause:

a) overloading operation

b) Start and stop it too frequently

c) Bearing wear

d) Voltage is too high or too low

Handling method: reduce electric load; reduce operating frequency; replace bearings; confirm whether the voltage is normal.
